Partly sunny with scattered showers in the morning... Then mostly sunny with isolated showers in the afternoon. Windy. Highs 75 to 81. Northeast winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent.
North Shore Morning Report: Another day of unruly surf for country shorelines with less than ideal conditions due to the strong and gusty NNE winds. The mix of strong NNE swell and dropping NW swell still producing overhead to double overhead waves for most spots on the north shore. Pipe has marginal lefts getting side shore cross chop up the face from the wind. Short Term Forecast for Monday 11/11: The Waimea buoy is down from yesterday afternoon/evening's peak, but is still a very respectable combined 11'+ at 12 seconds from the NNE. The mix of NE swell and secondary/old NW swell will ease through the day on Monday. Surf is still very consistent but also jumbled up and sloppy with overhead to well overhead waves at the exposed spots and double overhead and larger waves at top spots. Quality will generally be low/poor. Sizes come down gradually through the afternoon. Strong NE trades. Into fishing? Check out Surfline's fishing site for updated SST charts, tips, photos and video.
